Our
standard, mixing inverter and slotted breaker plates
are made in-house in our flexible manufacturing cell.
The flexible cell concept utilizes the best aspects
of manual and CNC machines to give you quick turnarounds
with consistent quality.
We
stock most common breaker plate materials to get your
plates done faster. We normally carry 4140, 440C,
17-4PH, A-2, H-13, Inconel 625 as well as other materials.

offer plates for extruders and screen changers, with
standard,
mixing inverter, slotted patterns.
Plates
can be custom made to your specifications, often in
one week or less.

Material
Selection
Standard Material
Our standard material is 17-4 Ph stainless. The 17-4
Ph stainless has good combination of strength, hardness,
and resistance to corrosion. Our optional #900 heat
treatment maximizes these properties at a nominal
cost. Heat treated 17-4 will not exhibit the brittle
failure characteristics of other heat treated materials.
17-4 PH with H900 heat treatment will significantly
outlast non-heat treated 440C in almost all applications.
